Prices of products and services displayed on this Web Site are deemed to be competitive and current. However prices vary on occasion and products are subject to availability.

Australian Goods and Services Tax Policy

By default, All prices quoted on www.asbestosandyou.com.au are inclusive of the Australian 10% GST. International Customers, please log in and contact us to arrange pricing that is GST exclusive. GST need only be paid by Australia Residents.

International Prices

For international postage, please contact us directly. There are no know export restrictions on products sold from this website.

Ordering Policy

An order placed by you is an offer to purchase a particular product at the price and delivery charges specified on this Web Site. Asbestos & You reserves the right to accept or reject your offer for any reason. Prices and products and delivery charges, and product and service availability are current at the time of issue but are subject to change at any time without notification. To efficiently process your order you must submit your name, email address, mailing address, credit card number and the expiry date of your credit card. You must provide accurate personal details and information and must not transmit any material of any kind which contains a virus, malicious computer code transmitted on or though the Web Site or other harmful component. Your contract with Asbestos & you is operable when Asbestos & You advises that your order has been accepted and receipt of your payment is confirmed.

At present we are not able to accept web payment made with a non-Australian credit card, given the limitations that we face in establishing that the user of the card is legitimate. Payments from overseas customers are not accepted via Electronic Funds Transfer.

We accept company or bank cheques.

Fraud

Unauthorised use of a credit card, use of an invalid card and the provision of a false name and personal details will be considered fraudulent. All fraudulent activity will be subject to prosecution by the fullest extent of the law.

Shipping & Delivery Policy

All orders are shipped with either Australia Post or Toll Priority depending on size, weight and location.

To pass on the savings for mail items, we have engaged AUstralia Post which offers a 3-4 day delivery in Australia.

For items suited to courier delivery (heavy, bulky or mulitple orders), we have engaged Toll Priority who offer a 2-3 day delivery to all areas except Northern Territory. If you are in the Northern Territory, please contact us directly.

Please check your email regularly as we forward emails confirming receipt of order and notification of dispatch.

If you have not received your goods within 5 working days, from the email date of dispatch, please contact us for urgent attention.

Asbestos & You relies on its suppliers for stock availability. In a case where products are not in stock at the time of your order, we will contact you to identify if you want us to hold the order or dispatch as part order. We will advise you if additional freight costs are applicable.

Asbestos & You Pty Ltd endeavours to fulfil its commitment to the stated delivery schedule but cannot guarantee to meet scheduled delivery times on all occasions. Delivery times are indicative only and Asbestos & You does not accept any liability for failure to meet scheduled delivery times or any inconvenience caused as a consequence. Asbestos & You will afford a reasonable opportunity to its customers to examine goods for the purpose of ascertaining whether or not they conform with the purchase order. A period of 5 days from the date of delivery to alert Asbestos & You to non-conformity is given in the following situations:

a. Shipment of wrong/damaged products
b. Short shipment of products from a consignment
c. Missing cartons from multiple carton consignments
In the above situations please contact the Returns Department.

When placing an order with Asbestos & You we require a physical street address as delivery is via a courier. Please note that a condition of purchase from this site is an Authority To Leave (ATL). If you or your representative is present, a signature will be sort at the delivery address.

For mutliple or large orders, please contact us to organise a favourable bulk shipping rate.

All goods are thoroughly examined before packaging to ensure they are sent in A1 condition.

Whilst we accept no responsibility for parcels lost or damaged within the postal or courier system please notify us if your parcel doesn’t arrive or arrives damaged and we will look into it for you. If your goods arrive broken, Australia Post will request to view them before any claims can be made.

Toll Priority uses a tracking system where you can log onto their website, input your consignment number and see the progress of your parcel.

Customer Service Policy

Our webpage enables you to log in under your account name and view the progress of your order. We notify you when it is being processed and when it has been posted. Toll Priority also offers a unique tracking system which means you can track you purchase from the moment it leaves our building. All you need to do is log on to our website and then Toll Priority to keep track.

If we are unable to fulfil your order due to an "out of stock" situation, we will contact you to discuss your preferred arrangments for future delivery or refund.

Refunds Policy

All goods to be returned, whether defective or not, will require a Refund Authorisation Number before they can be returned. To obtain a Return Authorisation Number, please contact the Returns Department on 08 8212 1111. You will need to supply the following information which will be on your invoice before we can issue a Refund Authorisation Number: -

Name and contact details
Product to be returned
Date of purchase
Reason for return

Refund Authorisation Numbers are only valid for 7 days, so we must receive the returned product into our store within this period; otherwise, the return may not be accepted. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all products are suitably packaged in order to prevent damage during return shipping. A copy of the invoice, or other proof of purchase, must be included with the returned product. The Refund Authorisation Number should be clearly visible on the outside of the product-shipping carton and addressed to the following address -

Asbestos & You accepts no responsibility for loss or damage occurring in transit on return to Asbestos & You. Asbestos & You will test all products returned. Some products may need to be returned to the manufacturer for testing. Asbestos & You will contact you to advise of the status of the returned product.

Unless stated otherwise under this Returns Policy, Asbestos & You reserves the right to refuse any returns that -

are incomplete or missing parts; or
are not returned in their original packaging, or
the customers has simply changed their mind on the purchase, or
show signs of physical damage to the product or its packaging or
does not include a valid Return Authorisation Number on the shipping label.

We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong selection. Asbestos & You may accept a return within seven days of purchase if the product is unopened. Exchanges or refunds can be given where goods are faulty. Our Policy does not limit your rights under the Trades Practices Act or the Fair Trading Act.
