The "Hands-On” instruction guides include all the practical steps do the following tasks: Initiating an emergency procedure Drilling Holes in asbestos Sheeting to fix switches, fittings, fuses and straps Cutting holes in asbestos sheeting for vent pipes, air conditioning outlets, skylights and service penetrations Making safe cracks & exposed edges to asbestos sheet Cleaning up asbestos sheet debris inside & outside & in ceiling spaces Lifting & removing small quantities of asbestos containing floor materials Removal of eaves - limited to less than 10 sq metres Removal of external walls - limited to less than 10 sq metres Removal of internal walls - including wet areas - limited to less than 10 sq metres Removal of fences - above-ground & in-ground construction - limited to less than 10 sq metres Following your training you will be able to do these jobs safely. The advice covers: Engaging a Trades Person - What they should provide to you in their Client Information Pak Engaging an Asbestos Removal Contractor - What Restricted License, and Fully Licensed (Unrestricted) operators should provide to you in their Client Information Pak Course Notes refer to all aspects of the training.
