This comprehensive training course is delivered to you in five linked components: Part A - Course Notes These are your printed training notes which will provide you with detailed instructions on how to identify and record any asbestos containing materials located in your home. Refer to these Course Notes as you view the training. Part B - Key Learning Areas View the online training. It focuses on the key elements that will assist you to apply the information provided in your Course Notes. After you have viewed the training, we would like you to answer five short questions to confirm to us your understanding of the information. Upon completion you will receive your Response Email. Part C - Audio Visual 3D Home Walkthrough In your Response Email, you will receive access to our unique 3D Home Walkthrough of a typical home. The Walkthrough takes about 25 minutes and covers an external walk-around and an internal walkthrough which includes inspection of under floor and ceiling spaces. This Walkthrough will surprise you as to how many asbestos related products were in fact used in home construction. You will be able to observe over 40 examples of asbestos containing materials that were commonly used in domestic residences all over Australia. Part D - Product Recognition Chart We also provide you with internal and external Product Recognition Charts which include pictures of easy to recognise products which may be found in your home. You should carry this with you when you do your visual inspection. Part E - Your Home Asbestos Identification Register This is a blank version of the sample register that you viewed in your training and the Course Notes. With the knowledge you will gain from your training, you will be able to confidently complete Your Home Register in a safe and professional manner.
